The Audit Log in QuickBooks Online keep track of who, when and what changes were made to transactions. In Client Hub, activity related to Client Tasks is recorded as System Bot message (these can be displayed in the Conversations panel from the ellipsis).
As an accounting professional, it's often necessary to view the Audit Log in QuickBooks Online to find out how and when changes were made to transactions. When using the Client Hub Integration, audit log entries are tagged with the name of the QuickBooks Online user that set up the connection between Client Hub and QuickBooks Online. To provide a clear entry of where the change originated
- Add a Team member to your QuickBooks Online Accountant account with the Name Client Hub (use a generic email address or create a free gmail account for this user)
- Assign this new user to the QuickBooks Online companies that you will be integrating with Client Hub (or just select all)
- When setting up the integration with Client Hub and QuickBooks Online, use the login credentials for this new user.
- When the reclassification of transactions fromĀ Client Hub get pushed over to QuickBooks Online, they will be tagged with the new user for easy identification.
