Troubleshooting Sync from Xero to Client Hub

Sync transactions in from Xero
After you have set up the Xero connection, you can use the "..." menu at the top of the Client Tasks panel to see the "Sync transactions ..." action that will immediately sync any Spend Money transactions that are against your target account to come in to Client Hub.  (Also, we have an automated process that runs every 10 minutes to bring in latest transactions to Client Hub)



The most common reason for a transaction not coming in from Xero is the date of the transaction
If you are creating a transaction from the bank feed, then that transaction date has to be AFTER the date that the Client Hub to Xero connection was made.

Testing a connection
The best way to test if the connection is working is not to try to create a transaction from a Bank Feed.  Instead:

  • Use the + menu on top on create a new "Spend Money" transaction
  • Choose the target account in Xero for the transaction
  • Come to Client Hub and click the "..." menu on the top of the Client Task panel
  • Click to sync the latest Xero transactions
