Organizing your jobs by tags

Creating a tag library and adding tags jobs allow you to create custom views of your Jobs Dashboard in Client Hub. This allows you to filter out unrelated items and focus on the work that's most important like jobs with hard deadlines such as sales tax, payroll, ect..

You may want to organize the jobs in your firm in various ways. For example:

  • By the kind of service that the job relates to -- set up a tag for each kind of service

To start, an administrator can set up your firm's tag list in the Advanced section of the Setup & Settings page
Then,

  • Add tag(s) to each job (using the + button in the Tags section) in the job panel
  • In the jobs dashboard, use the Job Tag option and select the tag(s) to create the custom views.
