Your Experience
For each client that you add to Client Hub, Client Hub creates a “Workspace” where you can see everything going with a client and even work collaboratively with that client. This is our core concept.
The workspace has four tabs: Client Workspace and File Manager are tabs that your firm and your clients see. Internal Workspace and Client Details are for your firm only
Your Client’s experience
When your client logs in, they see a list or workspaces they have access to on the left navigation. Their view of their workspace is almost identical to what you see. Check out our video tour of the client experience
Test Driving Client Hub
Yes, we get it -- as an accounting professional, you want to test drive the client experience, so that you can see what it's all about and make sure it is right for your practice and your clients.
To test drive, follow these steps to invite yourself as a client and work in the workspace as both accountant and client:
- In the 'Clients and Workspaces' tab, choose the Sample Client and then add go to the Client Details tab. Here, invite yourself as a client user but make sure to use a different email address from the one you signed up with (maybe your personal email address)
- Check the email account for your invitation link. Since you are already logged into Client Hub as the accountant, you will need to copy and paste the link in the invite email into a into a new incognito (private) browser windowto accept the invitation.
- Now you can switch between your original browser window (where you have the full accountant experience) and this new incognito window (where you have the single workspace experience as a client). You can try out various features, such as sending Conversation messages back-and-forth, creating Client Tasks for your clients, and curating Apps and Resources for them.
