Welcome to our most exciting release since the launch of Client Hub last year. This release reflects a lot of what we have learned from the firms who have adopted Client Hub and introduces a next generation experience for you and your clients. .
Highlights of this release:
New Client View
On the Client side, we now have a left navigation pane that is more consistent with the accountant view. Also, this navigation pane encourages clients to download our mobile app, which is the best experience for most clients.
Brand New Accountant View and Navigation
Our main navigation, having a Clients tab separate from the Workspaces tab was confusing. We have now merged these into a "My Clients" area on the left.
New Clients list, unread indicators and one-click access
This makes it really clear to see which client workspaces have new activity and super-fast to switch between workspaces as well!
Internal Client Notes
We have added an area where your team can share internal notes for each client
Improved Client Tasks
when no client Client Tasks are outstanding, many of you requested to leave the Client Task panel empty (instead of going to the "All" Client Tasks tab). This is how it works now! Also, we have made the item box itself cleaner and more intuitive.
Improved Accept Invite Flow
Now, when a staff member or clients completes accepting the invitation, they immediately come into Client Hub (not start with a login page to login with the credentials just created)
Many Other Usability Improvements
There are numerous other usability improvements all over the products including better explaining features (such as changing text to "Client Response Requested" in the Client Task flow) or better visibility to key features (such as the new "Manage Templates" navigation menu.
Bolder Typography and Cleaner Layouts
Our design team has given the platform a new vibrant look with cleaner surfaces and bolder typography
Improved Loading Performance
Last but certainly not least, this release also complete a significant infrastructure change that makes initial load of Client Hub, as well ongoing use of Client Hub much faster. We are now using a world-class real-time database (Google Firestore) for our conversation messages which adds even more scale and reliability to the platform.
