How to create a Job from a message in Conversations

When a client sends a message in conversation requesting you to provide them with service or deliverables you can turn that message into a Job in your internal workspace.

  • Mouse over the message in the Conversations Panel to display the ellipsis (...)
  • Select Create a Job
  • The page will redirect to the Jobs panel for that workspace and a new job will be created with the current date and the job name "Job created from Client Message"
  • The first task in the job will contain a copy of the message
  • Update the job to provide a descriptive title, assignee and start / due date
  • Add additional tasks and/or instructions as needed
