How to use Auto-pilot to automate the process of creating Client Tasks

The Auto-pilot feature allows you to set up Client Tasks to be automatically created from within your internal Jobs

  • Begin by creating a Job in the Internal Workspace
  • In the Task section, click on the +Client Task option
  • When the Client Task Draft box appears add 1 or more client tasks to be added to the start of the Job
  • Click the Add to Job button
  • When the Client Task are added at the start of the Job (precede internal tasks) the Autopilot option will be displayed at the top of the Task panel
  • Toggle the Autopilot switch to the on position
  • in the Autopilot Settings box set the number of days in advance of the job Start date that you want the Client Task to be automatically created in the Client Workspace then click the Save button
  • For repeating Jobs, these tasks will be auto created based on the Autopilot settings each time a new instance of the Job is created

All Client Task that precedes internal tasks will be auto created based on the parameters in the Autopilot settings.

Note: To add Client Task on Auto pilot to an existing job, add them to the end of the task list then drag them up to the top of the task list. The Auto Pilot feature will appear
