Understanding Client Hub Notifications as an Client User

Here is a summary of how notifications work for client users in the platform -

A. Client Conversation Activity: We notify you whenever there is a new message (or file) added to a Conversation

  • Blue Unread indicator next to the workspace name
  • Mobile Notification (if app is installed and notifications are enabled)
  • By Email (if you have not clicked into the workspace to read the message already)

B. Client Tasks: We notify you when a new client task(s) is added to the workspace or when an accountant user "Reminds" you about client tasks

  • In the Notification Bell
  • Mobile Notification (if app is installed and notifications are enabled)
  • By Email (if you have not clicked into the bell to read the notification already)





C. File Manager:  We notify you when an accountant adds a file to a  folder in File Manager

  • In the Notification Bell
  • Mobile Notification (if app is installed and notifications are enabled)
  • By Email (if you have not clicked into the bell to read the notification already)
