Notifications on Client Activity

As an accountant user in a workspace, you want to know when there is client activity:

For a new message to their Conversation section of the Client Workspace.
If you are not already in the workspace, then Client Hub lets you know about new Conversation messages in all these ways -

  1. With the "blue" unread indicator on the workspace
  2. (If you are "Following" the workspace -- see below) Notification on your mobile app
  3. (If you are "Following" this workspace -- see below) Email notification if the message remains unread

For other activity (Client Task answered, File uploaded in File Manager)

All these only happen if you are "Following" the workspace -

  1. Notification added to the "bell" icon on the top left bar
  2. Notification sent to your mobile app
  3. Email notification, if the notification in the bell icon remains unread





Follow/Unfollow Client Workspaces
You can control if you want no notifications about activity in a particular workspace by "Unfollowing" the workspace. You can do this by:

  • Clicking on your personal icon on the bottom left 
  • Choose "Notification Settings" menu option
  • In the "What to get Notified On" - "Client Communication Activity" section, you can check / uncheck workspaces to follow / unfollow them
