Notification Settings - Email, In-product and Mobile

Notification Types:

Client Hub offers three types of notifications: email, in-product (bell & bubble icons), and mobile push notification (for users who have installed our mobile app)

How does Client Hub Notify me of new activity?
  • In-Product
    • For new Conversation activities, Client Hub notifies you via the blue bubble next to the client name in the client list
    • For all other activities (see below), Client Hub notifies you via the bell icon next to the client name in the client list as well as:
      • The Bell Icon in the upper left corner (notifications across all clients)
      • The Bell icon next to the client name at the top of the page (notifications for this client)
  • Email
    • Notifications are sent via from our servers 4 times per hour. The email will contain a summary of all the activity since the last send along with a link to log into your account.
  • Mobile Push & badge
    • Notifications of activity in the Client Workspace are sent via mobile push in real-time.
    • A red badge will appear on the app card in the mobile device indicating the number of unread items.

What activities do I get notified about?

  • New message in conversations (this can include bot messages for auto or manual reminders)
  • A response to, or comment on a Client Task
  • A file uploaded to the file manager
  • A new job assigned to you or an existing job reassigned to you (no notifications for repeating jobs)
  • A comment on a job when you have been tagged

How to turn on/off notifications?

  • Accountant users can disable email notifications for Client Workspaces and File Manager activities from their profile (lower left corner)
  • Notifications for activities in the Internal workspace can not be disabled
  • Notifications for mobile can be disabled in the device notification settings
  • There are no options to disable email/in-product notifications for client users
