Because web applications like Client Hub run in a browser environment, you may find that there are times that applications get "stuck", especially during login, due to behavior that is controlled by browser cache and cookies.
It is recommended that the cache, cookies, and browsing history be cleared periodically to help manage browser performance.
Clear your cache data in Chrome
The first step to clear is the cache, which are files that the browser saves locally so that it can deliver content to you faster (without going back to the web server/web app for a request). However, these cached files can cause issues when they are not in sync with the web app. To clear your cache:
- In Chrome, type in this web address: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
- Go to the Advanced tab and only choose "Cached images and files"
- Click the Clear data.button
Now, try logging into Client Hub.
Clear your cookies in Chrome
If clearing the cache doesn't work, then you can clear your Cookies. Cookies are files created by websites you visit. They make your online experience easier by saving browsing information. With cookies, sites can keep you signed in, remember your site preferences, and give you locally relevant content. This can often cause issues when information on the site has changed or updates have been made. To clear all your browser history -
- Open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More .
- Click History History.
- On the left, click Clear browsing data. A box will appear.
- From the drop-down menu, select how much history you want to delete. To clear everything, select All time (recommended).
- Check the boxes for the info you want Chrome to clear, including “browsing history, Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files". Learn more about the types of browsing data you can delete
- Click Clear data.
